What is a Rustic Donut?
Rustic Donut vegan donuts are made without artificial colors, ingredients, soy, palm oil or preservatives. They are also perfectly imperfect and you'll notice no two donuts look alike. That's because they're handcrafted and baked from scratch.
The taste, though, is what sets Rustic Donut apart from traditional donuts. They have a homemade, dense, moist, cake-like consistency that's super satisfying when you crave something sweet without all the grease, preservatives and scary artificial ingredients you sometimes get with regular donuts.
What ingredients do you use?
We use simple, ingredients without any artificial preservatives, flavors, colors, hydrogenated oil or palm oil. Ingredients you can pronounce and feel good about and real toppings you can see like walnuts, almonds, chocolate chips and unsweetened coconut. Visit one of our locations and ask a barista for a list of ingredients. You can also contact us with any questions or concerns.
Do your donuts have palm oil or soy in them?
No, you won't find any palm oil or soy in our donuts. During the holidays, we may use some toppings that may contain soy in them. Ask one of our stockists for a list of ingredients if you have any concerns.
Do you use sugar processed with bone char?
Nope! The only powdered sugar we use is made from 100% pure beet sugar and our cane sugar is certified USDA organic, both of which are not passed through a bone char filter. Learn more about bone char and why we won't use it.
Your donuts sound too healthy. Do Rustic Donuts taste like dry stale bread?
Um...no. They're made with mostly organic, unprocessed ingredients, but that doesn't mean they taste like cardboard. Read what our customers have to say.

We're working on it...
Are you vegan?
I've been mostly vegan for 10+ years but I'm also dairy intolerant/allergic to dairy. Since I avoid dairy at all costs, it's easier to eat a vegan, whole foods, plant-based diet. I'm also passionate about not eating ingredients I can't pronounce. I want to know what's going in my body and want you to know what's going in yours, too. That's why I only use ingredients you can feel good about. If you're going to have a treat, why not have one with better ingredients you can pronounce?
Are your donuts nut-free?
No. Rustic Donuts are made with almond milk and some donuts come with nut toppings including walnuts and almonds. They are also produced in a kitchen that may also process common food allergens such as tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, soy, wheat, gluten and dairy. Although we use gluten-free ingredients in our gluten-free vegan donuts, we are not a certified gluten-free facility, so there is possibility of cross-contamination. Please do not consume our products if you're allergic to any of these ingredients.
