When blended with frozen bananas, pumpkin makes a delicious, creamy combination. Adding some pumpkin almond nog however, takes it to a whole new dimension of yummy extra flavor!
This smoothie is probably one of my top 5 favorites. It's supremely delicious, full of pumpkin flavor, perfect for fall and super creamy!
1/2-1 frozen banana, cut into pieces
2 large overflowing tablespoonfuls of canned pumpkin
a few splashes of almond nog - I used Silk brand, but choose the one you like best
a few splashes of unsweetened almond milk
a couple dashes of cinnamon and nutmeg
Add banana, pumpkin and nog to a blender and mix until blended. If it's too thick, add a little more nog and/or almond milk until it gets to a creamy consistency you like. Add spices to taste. Enjoy!
